Founded in 2012 by Managing Director Michael Davis, Westside Insurance Specialists are proud Western Australian locals with an in-depth knowledge of local insurance needs. Growing considerably over the past 10 years, Westside is now comprised of a specialised team of over 20, spanning across two offices at Kwinana Beach and Burswood, with a client list of businesses from all industries of all sizes.
A people-focused business manager, Michael attributes their success over the past decade to the highly experienced team who take a personalised, caring and collaborative approach when it comes to building and maintaining relationships with business owners across WA. The team pride themselves on providing individual service and risk assessments to tailor the best solutions for their client’s needs and unique set of risks.

To further ensure that their clients enjoy the best value and cover, Westside works with over 150 Australian and international insurers.
Westside’s dedication to providing quality service and their agile ability to adapt to today’s challenges have stood the business in good stead, with their hard work being recognised in 2022, winning the prestigious IA Practice of the Year Award at the annual IA Conference Gala night in October. The coveted award recognises the achievements and exceptional service of a branch within the IA network.
Westside’s commitment to their clients is also evident in the feedback from clients themselves. Aerodrome Management Services has remained one of Westside’s valued clients since the business’s establishment. According to Owner and Managing Director, Kevin Thomas, “Westside has always come through for us, embodying a ‘can do’ attitude and giving us solutions, not problems”. He goes on, “The real advantage is that they talk in real life terms without overuse of insurance terminology. This enables us to make decisions and determinations based upon good understanding and scenarios”.
Westside are firm believers that their prosperity comes from the community, and as such, believe in giving back to it. They are proud supporters of several local sporting clubs, Not-for Profit clients and local charities, including their annual participation in the Pipeline Challenge, which raises money for Youth Futures and their work with young mums escaping homelessness or domestic violence. They are also supporters of Fresh Start Clinic as well as The Insurance Advisernet Foundation, which contributes over $400,000 per annum to over 30 charities through fundraising initiatives.
